Hi! This is going to sound odd, but I can't see who this is! I have a couple of guesses based on the vague profile imag and name, but not enough to confidently say :) Thank you for the kind words and REVEAL YOURSELF AT ONCE.

It has been so incredibly fascinating to read about your path through life and corporate America these past few years after mostly knowing you from your very extensive documentation of Amelia's Adventures through hostels, the stint in the Colorado ski town and everything else you chose to put out there in the world with greater frequency during that time. It's been quite a while since then though. My memory is kind of foggy. I just completed my 39th year of life myself - but one thing certainly hasn't changed - your ability to string some words together in a way that pulls in the reader to want to keep reading and know more. If more writing is what you want to do, then I hope you're able to make the space in your current lifestyle for that to happen, even if's just for yourself and not for the publish button. I am sorry to read about all the difficult times last year. Your mother is correct though. I mean, in reality, I don't actually know you, but jeez, I have probably WANTED to know you starting with the first words that I saw you throw up on a screen all those years ago - which feels so incredibly weird to actually write out - I guess you just have always given off this very authentic vibe that I don't tend to see from a lot of humans. Nevertheless, I'm happy to keep reading the emails. :)

Gosh, this is so kind of you to share, TJ. Always great to see a comment pop up from you. It's nice to hear that authenticity shines through in my writing because as much as I strive for that, it can be challenging to not succumb to the performative at times. Even the most vulnerable amongst us struggle in the age of the Internet :)

You have a great memory though! I sure miss the days where my life allowed for more adventure and the space to write about it. That said, I'm sure glad I seized it when I had it -- many don't and I look back so fondly at those years in which I forcefully resisted the the road most taken. Absolute glory days.

It's Colin from Breckenridge! Being curious about randos in your comment section is hardly odd, although there were 7 words in the sentence following... Hmmm 🤔
